On February 11th, world traveler and hiker Ed Sheridan presented a beautiful slide show of his trip to Turkey. Due to the bitter weather and the exercise class that night, our attendance was so low that Ed agreed to re-present his program.
On this most recent excursion, Ed, Earl, and Flat Michelle climbed Mt. Emler in the Taurus Mountains. The Taurus Mountains are a mountain complex in southern Turkey, dividing the Mediterranean coastal region of southern Turkey from the central Anatolian Plateau and Mt. Emler is the most often climbed summit in the range.
The new date for the program will be Wednesday, April 22nd, at 7pm. Please call the library for more information.
